Field Trips!
Our Director Becki Christopherson hosts various trips to hear the concert artists who perform in venues within driving distance to Fairfield County. Open to students beyond Suzuki book 4 (all instruments), 2010 planned trips include Tanglewood (summer home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra), Caramoor Music Festival, and of course the New York Philharmonic. Price includes transportation and ticket.
Supplies Account new!!!
Avoid the hassles of constant billing! For an enrollment fee of $40, open a Supplies Account. As books, CDs, metronomes, and other small supplies are needed, simply fill out an order form, and TESS will deduct the cost of such items from your account. TESS will send you an invoice reflecting your purchase and payment. Please replenish your balance at the beginning of every semester. Should you withdraw from the program, any balance remaining will be refunded in full.

Violin Maintenance Account new!!!
For an enrollment fee of $100, TESS will assist you with the general care and maintenance of your violin. As strings, rosin, or other supplies are needed, the school will deduct the cost of such items from your enrollment fee. As repairs or upgrades are needed, service, shipping and repair costs will also be deducted from your enrollment fee. Families are asked to replenish the $100 at the beginning of every semester. Should the student withdraw from the program, any remaining balance will be refunded in full.

Consultation
The Music Directors and office staff are available Monday through Friday to answer your questions regarding school events, billing, and issues concerning your Course of Study. Teachers are also available on a limited basis by phone or email to answer questions concerning your child's Course of Study. Teachers or the Music Directors may recommend purchasing a Consultation for lengthy discussion of more complex issues. The Advanced Program includes two consultations with the Music Directors per year to plan your child's musical opportunities!

Resources for Further Study
Binders containing information on music catalog companies, summer camps, local music enrichment programs, local concert opportunities, and competition opportunities are available in the office. Please discuss all enrichment activities with your teacher to ensure that they are appropriate for your child's age and ability prior to pursuing them.

TESS Parent's Association
The TESS Parent's Association is a non-profit organization that exists to support the artistic, educational, and charitable activities of the Talent Education Suzuki School. They seek grants, corporate underwriting, and donations from individuals and corporations to provide funding for our Scholarship Fund, our Community Outreach Fund, and our General Support Fund. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
