POSITION: FULL TIME PIANO TEACHER, JUNE, 2012 or 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEAR
DESCRIPTION: Norwalk is one hour from either NYC or New Haven. The Talent Education Suzuki School seeks to provide parents, children, and teachers the opportunity to achieve their best as musicians, people, and educators. Teachers are treated as professionals beautiful teaching spaces, administrative support, and competitive compensation. Teachers are encouraged be creative and individual in their educational efforts while maintaining a common curriculum, standard and community.
DUTIES: Teach private and group piano classes for pre-Twinkle through Advanced and possibly coach piano duos, 24-30 hours/week. Teach music theory classes books 1-4, and accompany violin/cello through book 5 as needed. Possibly become the Piano Department Head - implement your vision!
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelors in Music, graduate degree preferred, SAA training through book 2, and 2 years Suzuki teaching experience. Must be a current member of SAA.

POSITION: PART TIME CELLO TEACHER, JUNE, 2012 or 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEARÂ
DESCRIPTION: Norwalk is one hour from either NYC or New Haven. The Talent Education Suzuki School seeks to provide parents, children, and teachers the opportunity to achieve their best as musicians, people, and educators. Teachers are encouraged be creative and individual in their educational efforts while maintaining a common curriculum, standard and community.
DUTIES: Assist with the current Cello Department and work with current faculty to build the program. Teaching responsibilities may include private, group and/or chamber ensembles. Two-three week days.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Bachelors in Music, SAA training through book 2, and 2 years Suzuki teaching experience. Must be a current member of SAA.

POSITION: FULL TIME VIOLIN TEACHER, 2012-2013 SCHOOL YEARÂ

DUTIES: Teach private and group violin classes for pre-Twinkle through Advanced and coach chamber ensembles 24-30 hours/week. The qualified candidate will feel equally comfortable with Pre-Twinkle and post Suzuki repertoire and have a thorough knowledge of intermediate and advance chamber repertoire.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of a Masters in Music, SAA training through book 4, and 5 years Suzuki and advanced teaching experience. Must be a current member of SAA.
