Becki Christopherson, founder and music director, has a life-long history of participation in the Suzuki movement.  Raised as a Suzuki student in both violin and piano, she received her Bachelor of Violin Performance from The Ohio State University with minors in piano and cello.  Her mother, Ginny Christopherson, is a Suzuki Violin teacher and trained Becki from an early age in administration and teaching.  Miss Christopherson taught at the Capital University Suzuki Program until 1995, where her students won many awards and competitions.  She relocated to Woodbridge, CT to be the music director of the Bethwood Suzuki School.  She was also the founder and music director of the Suzuki Music School of Westport until 2004.  Becki has received teacher training through The Suzuki Association of the Americas in both violin and piano, and performs in the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra as well as in the TESS faculty recitals.
