Jennifer Trahan, founder and music director, has a life-long history with the Suzuki movement.   A Suzuki student of Ginny Christopherson’s until 1992, she received her initial administrative training through her assistance with that programs’ annual summer Suzuki Institute.  She has a Bachelor’s in Violin Performance from Ohio University, graduating Summa cum Laude.  She taught in their Suzuki program while a student there.  She then went on to the Manhattan School of Music, where she received a Master’s of Music in Performance.  Ms. Trahan’s first collaboration with Miss Christopherson was at the Suzuki Music School of Westport, where she was Head of the Violin Department and the Assistant Music Director.  She taught all levels and ages there for six years before leaving to create the Talent Education Suzuki School in Norwalk.  Miss Trahan is the creator and Director of the Aspiring Young Artists Pre-Conservatory Program.  Jennifer performs regularly with the Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra.
