Recitals are given twice a year, once in November, once in May. Both are open to all students and attendance is highly encouraged. The performance piece is chosen one month in advance, and all notes must be learned to ensure the student’s ability to perform his or her best with ease. The final month of preparation should be used for polishing. |

The Final Concert is in early June. This is a group performance for all violin, guitar, flute, and cello students. The program consists of at least one song from every book, from the most advanced to Twinkle. This is a wonderful celebration of the hard work the students have given over the course of the year. |

Graduation recitals are given at the end of each book. The student will be nominated by the teacher when he or she is able to play through all of the recital songs in one lesson. Teachers nominate their students for graduation approximately one month prior to the recital. These recitals are the celebration and landmark of achievement of all skills learned at each level. They are essential tools in building the child’s confidence through individual successes. |
